The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: Book Review

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/ 5

I found myself smiling the whole time while reading this book. ❤️✨

Wizard of Oz is a story about a little girl named Dorothy who lives in Kansas with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry. Then, one day a cyclone happened and for a reason brought Dorothy to the magical Land of Oz, where she gets to meet weird yet amazing creatures and people who basically lived there. She also gets to meet new friends who will help her throughout the journey in meeting the powerful wizard named Oz to ask for help for Dorothy to return home.

Wizard of Oz was a really fun read for me. The writing style was simple and easy to read. The story was great and easy to follow. It is indeed perfect for children who love to hear and read about wizards, good and bad witches, and friends going on a journey. The characters in the story are funny, loveable and readers can learn something from them.

The reason why I gave this book four (4) stars was because it was pretty much simple, the plot was good but I didn't really like the twist where Dorothy and Oz were about to leave Emerald City and the plan didn't go well for Dorothy. However, I do understand that this book is intended for young readers. So, all in all, it was still a very fun read and I genuinely enjoyed it.

Spread love and goodness as always,
                                                                    em💕
